CB Radio History
In the 1930s inventors began experimenting with various designs of personal radio communications using frequencies in the 27 Mega Hertz range. In 1934, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) was established in the United States to oversee all radio and telecommunications. Three categories of radio services were created; Broadcast, Public, and Safety/Special. |
